LSTAR’s Holiday Gala raises funds for Unity Project
The Christmas season kicked off on November 14th as the London and St. Thomas Association of REALTORS® (LSTAR) celebrated with a gala at the London Convention Centre.
More than 300 REALTORS® and guests attended the glamorous Holiday Gala event which raised $6,000 for the Unity Project for the Relief of Homelessness in London, Inc.
"Not only was this event a great way to bring in the Christmas season, but we especially appreciated the opportunity to support such a worthwhile cause as the Unity Project," said Bruce Sworik, LSTAR President. "I’m very grateful for the support of all the REALTORS® who came and helped make the event such a success, as well as the generous sponsors who made the evening possible. Thank you," added Sworik.
Silvia Langer, Chair, Board of Directors from the Unity Project thanked the evening’s sponsors and LSTAR. The event featured the London Jazz Orchestra, a buffet dinner, dancing, and prizes throughout the evening.
The Unity Project provides emergency shelter and transitional housing accommodations in a safe, secular and home-like setting.
